When this menu is visible, you can move the decorations to new locations in the aquarium simply by touching the decoration on the screen and moving your finger to a new place on the screen.  Also, touching a fish or a decoration will change it to something different.  Also, touching the gravel will change its color.
The menu includes the following options:
* Enable or disable sound
* Add or remove fish
* Add or remove decorations
* Randomly choose fish, decorations, gravel color, and the background
* Change the background image
* Use any photograph as the background
Each time you look at your aquarium, it will appear as it did when you previously looked at your aquarium.
If you wish to listen to iTunes music as you watch your aquarium, then go to the aquarium menu, and choose to disable sound, and then quit the aquarium software.  You can then start iTunes music, and then start the aquarium software again.  The aquarium will start without sound, and your iTunes music will continue to play.

"Block Hints" for the iPhone

"Block Hints" is a game for the iPhone.

"Block Hints" game for the iPhone

Introduction

Imagine that you are a block, trapped in a small grid.  You dream of freedom, but other blocks are in your way.  Fortunately, you can move the other blocks around and escape!

When you're surrounded by a lot of blocks, getting anywhere can be a challenge.  Sometimes there doesn't seem to be any good direction to choose.  But help is on the way!  Our game is always ready to provide a hint about how to move those blocks around to clear the way to your glorious destiny.

Features

* 22850 arrangements of blocks, ranging from mere snags to utter gridlock
* Hint feature indicates the best move at any time; you'll never get stuck!
* Three visual themes

Comparison to similar games

Our game resembles a popular iPhone game named "Blocked".  We like that game, and we encourage you to play it.  However, "Blocked" only has 100 arrangements of blocks, and there is no hint feature in that game.

Our game also resembles an iPhone game named "Parking Lot".  However, that game only has 400 arrangements of cars, and has no hint feature.

If you enjoyed playing either of those games, then I think you will really enjoy playing our game.

Hints

Our "Block Hints" game can indicate how to move the blocks to solve the puzzle.  Press the "hint" button:

After pressing the "hint" button, one of the best possible moves will be performed.  Holding the "hint" button will eventually solve the entire puzzle.  You can press the "reset" button at any time to return the board to its original configuration.

Themes

The visual style of "Block Hints" can be changed.

Statistics

Our "Block Hints" game keeps track of how many boards you have solved:

Playing "Block Hints"

If the puzzle block configurations seem too easy or too difficult to solve, then press the "menu" button, and then press the "difficulty" button, and then choose a different difficulty.  There are 5 different difficulty levels: "easy", "medium", "hard", "very hard", "expert".
If you press the "hint" button and do not release that button, then you will see the complete solution to a puzzle.  If you continue to hold down the "hint" button, you will see the complete solution to the next puzzle.  You can go back to previous puzzles using the left arrow button.
Pressing the arrow buttons goes through puzzles for the current difficulty level.  Holding down an arrow button will go through the puzzles at a fast rate.  When a person starts the game, all previously solved puzzles come before the current puzzle.
The "reset" button restores a particular puzzle board back to its original configuration, so that it can be solved again.
The "solve in ##" indicator indicates the minimum number of moves required to solve the puzzle from the current state of the board.  This number can change while the player moves pieces on the board.  However, this information is initially only shown when the board is in its original configuration.  So, the "solve in ##" indicator disappears after a player makes a move.  But pressing the "hint" button causes the game to get such information for other board configurations.  Thus, after pressing the "hint" button, the "solve in ##" indicator can reappear at various times for a few board configurations with known fewest number of moves to a solution.
